No. All is still quiet. The ballroom doors are open but there is no activity,,, yet

@BirdTravelsThank you for doing this.  We aren't on until the end of August and we know a lot can/will change by then, but this will help us set our expectations.

We haven't seen anything on B2B procedures yet. If you come across them, we would appreciate it if you can post them.

I’m on the 26th sailing too. Our check in is 12:30 so slots must be filling up!

Lucky you! I just booked two days ago and 1:30 was the only slot available at that time. Our flight comes in around noon so it works out great!

Any tables set up? ropes for lining people up, anything that looks like they are prepared for an onslaught of people arriving to check in?

Anything that looks like a dress rehearsal or are they just going to wing it?

Nope. The hotel staff said that the folks from Royal are not scheduled to show up until 10:30. All is quiet. Ballroom is empty except for some balloons

I got a reminder from the Royal App saying don’t forget to show up for the cruise.

Last week I was able to check-in and choose time for our August 28 and September 4 cruises on the adventure.  Noon was still available and I snagged that.

Valid point. I’m sure those with early check in times get to board sooner than later.

Today, for the first cruise, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is hosting a “Party in the Backyard” with live music, cold Kaliks, drill teams from the Martine Academy, and Junkanoo performers. Something to do while waiting for clearance.

I’m sailing next week and am excited that we got 12pm check in.  We’re staying at Warwick Paradise Island which is 10 minutes from British Colonial Hilton.  It’s great that we won’t have to ask for late check out.

As long as the wellness check doesn't involve touching my toes! 🙂

WE will be on AOS nest week.  Now we have to have a PCR test before arriving,  despite having been vaccinated. Got one scheduled for Monday.  Fingers crossed for no false positives. WE do fly in the day of, everything was booked through Royal, including transfers.

You don't need a PCR test until the July 19 cruises.

Unfortunately, the changes in testing protocols are the result of COVID cases on MCS and Celebrity this week. The rapid test for this week’s cruise will be a mess. Supposedly each passenger got a unique code to register and test. We’re supposed to get results via email which automatically updates our seapass to “cleared to sail”.

Fortunately, false positives are incredibly rare. I would not worry about that. (Source: I'm a medical lab scientist who performs covid testing)

Happy Travels!  Watching the Nassau web cam right now which is trained on Adventure. Can't wait to see the happy cruisers start boarding.  Thanks for posting!

If that works as well as the Cruise Planner, we'll just swim to Coco Cay.

I had an email specifically saying it was for my cruise. No rapid test required.

Interesting, as the RC FAQ (which seems to be updated by the minute) said the PCR test didn't start until June 19. The June 12 would just take a rapid test at the terminal
