If you read the article, it said "Numerous other packages of cocaine, valued at millions, washed up on Florida’s Atlantic coast from Miami to Jacksonville late last month."

I did. They think smugglers dumped the packages. They do it all the time. Usually use go fast boats, not cruise ships.

A lot of people seem to think it’s a Royal ship. Inside job involving crew, security, port personnel it seems. Someone was tipped off.

Helps with the reduced capacity in the dining venues, and makes people move faster so there's less chance of transmission.  Might make sense.

It would certainly help reduce diners consumption capacity and move them along quickly. A couple glasses of water and dinner is served! The dance floor would be too crowded though and that's not good for social distancing. They may run out of booze also, that would be a real problem. 🥳

Might have been a Celebrity ship - saw one docked there when we were driving back to the airport on 6/1.  Did not see any other ships docked at that time, unless others ported after.

Over on the RCI board, someone posted and article that quoted a person from "Royal Caribbean Security".  That would lead me to believe it was one of their ships.

I don't see where it says it was Royal, but I believe the only Royal ship to sail into Port Everglades recently is the new Odyssey of the Seas, unless it was from one of the Celebrity ships.

I have yet to see this on mainstream media but no matter what cruise line it is they will probably be showing a Carnival ship in the back ground.
