The guy I spoke to said the menu changed every three days.  So we get 3 days of menu 1, 3 days of menu 2, and then only one day of menu 3, which then carries over to the next cruise on July 3, and will be for only two days. So, what I take from this is that it is  changed every three days, Viking time, not individual cruise time, if that makes sense.  So I really can’t answer your question.  But we found it easy to add another reservation, so just check when you board.

Thanks.

Last time that we had Xiang, this was the menu:

Xiang

Amuse Bouche

Hot & Sour Soup - cantonese style

First Course

Fried Prawns - crispy garlic & chili

Granité

Coconut Granité - lemongrass & ginger infused

Main Course

Wok-Fried Beef - black pepper sauce, rice in lotus leaf

Dessert

Chilled Mango Cream - pomelo and sago

The last time we had Asian Panorama this was the menu:

Asian Panorama

Amuse Bouche

Chilled King Crab - coconut foam & curry

First Course

Lobster & Chicken Shu Mai - Shanghai style

Granité

Lemongrass & Red Chili Granité - lychee foam

Main Course

Peking Duck - crispy skin, Mandarin pancake, hoisin sauce

Dessert

Asian Trilogy - spring roll, crème brûlée & cheesecake

Have never had the British on yet.   Please let us know if either of the first two menus changed and what the British one is.   Thanks.

Sounds amazing

The rotation of the CT menus and the rotation of passengers are independent. One changes every  third day while the other changes every 7th day.  You have a 1 in 3 chance that they will be different menus, On the SKY, it would be on June 26 sailing, the July, 17, August 7, August 28. On the JUPITER, July 13, August 3 and 24.

Thanks @Peregrina651. We’re sailing on 7/20 and will inquire when we board.

Any feedback on the Golden Circle tour?  How many people were in each group?  Worth the money?

We had 22 on the bus and a great guide.  Thick mist, no rain.  We were very happy.

A question for someone in a DV cabin… Are there drawers inside the closet? I am hoping that they may have added some during the time the ships were shut down. Thanks

No there are not any drawers in the closet.

Regarding reservations not required at the Restaurant, if you have a reservation time do they honor it before those waiting?  We chose specific times for medical reasons.

No worries, they will honor your reservations. My point  was that if you don’t have one or if you wish to change, they will do their  best to accommodate  you.

Clay here is what you asked for many posts ago

Thanks so much!  Happy to see Camiel!  Was hoping that John (the Scot) Cunningham might be on the big board but since no restaurant manager is listed at all, I guess I can keep hoping.

Of course if y’all happen to see him aboard, let him know Clay, Mike, and Lois are looking forward to seeing him again in a couple of weeks-that may make him take an early vacation!

Thanks to all of the current travelers for taking the time to post your experiences! Are the lectures available on the TV if you miss them in person? Is the World Cafe actually a buffet? Can we show up at 8:00 PM if we have an 8:30 dinner reservation? Thanks for any information you can provide.

Please, what is the brand name of the tracking device (contact tracer)? My friend wants to ensure it will not interfere with her medical device. If there's also a model number, then that would be helpful.

Thank you for taking time to help us.

Here are some pics of the tracking device. In the pic where it is being held sideways, the clear line around the drive occasionally flashes red or blue. Not sure if any of this is helpful, but I hope so!

DEVICE, not “drive”. SMH… autocorrect.

That's interesting. On our 6/15 Bermuda cruise, our contact tracing devices were square, and about 1/3 the size. While speaking to the shore-ex coordinator on board, he said the devices communicated with routers installed all over the ship. BTW, prior to cruising we bought retractable lanyards, the kind that either clip to your belt loop or slide over or clothing. We put our cabin card in the clear holder, then added the tracing device to it too. You can also stick your DL in the holder too. We needed a picture ID to reboard the ship. Everything thing is in one spot and secure.

Yes, you can see the lectures on the TV, I have posted pictures of the World Cafe Buffet . It is set up just the same as before, only difference is that you can not serve yourself . Really not an issue at all.
I would say that if you showed up at 8 for an 8:30 reservation you would be able to get in as long as they hadn’t reached capacity.
