Adventure of the Seas sailing

Recommended Posts

Currently on the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas. Sitting in the most beautiful and scenic port in the Caribbean, Freeport. Haha. But then this little old lady sailed in behind us for some maintenance.

Is it true that two children under 16 with Covid were removed from the ship, yesterday?

Yesterday “at sea”.  Today at Freeport and yes they left ship with parents to be flown home.

I had thought Freeport was on Day 7 or Friday?  Has that changed?  Also how’s the WiFi onboard?  Heard it was terribly slow last week.

This weeks itinerary was changed from the prior weeks. I think they do their second day at CoCoCay tomorrow.

Any passengers quarantined that had close contacts with the 2 children still on the ship that you know of?

Here is Royal Caribbean's official statement:

Two guests on Adventure of the Seas tested positive for COVID-19 after routine testing that is required before returning home. Here are the facts:

  • Both guests, under the age of 16 and unvaccinated, were immediately quarantined. One guest is asymptomatic, and the other guest is experiencing mild symptoms.
  • Those in their immediate travel party are vaccinated and have tested negative.
  • Close contacts were quickly identified and tested. All are vaccinated and tested negative.

Adventure's itinerary is two stops at Coco Cay- Sunday and then Monday; however, this week Freedom did its test sail to Coco Cay on Monday.  So Adventure moved its second stop at Coco Cay to Friday.

Adventure returns to its original itinerary next cruise.
