PelicanBill Posted July 15, 2021 Author #5 Share Posted July 15, 2021 We've got one small thing in the Atlantic. Just 10% over 5 days.
PelicanBill Posted July 15, 2021 Author #6 Share Posted July 15, 2021 The Pacific is heating up. I don't usually create threads for named storms unless they threaten land. Here's Felicia: slowly moving west, no threat to land, but hurricane strength through next Tuesday! The disturbance is 90% likely to get a name soon. PelicanBill Posted July 19, 2021 Author #7 Share Posted July 19, 2021 All quiet still in the Atlantic. In the Pacific the second storm became Guillermo, and both are just heading west and no threat.

PelicanBill Posted July 24, 2021 Author #10 Share Posted July 24, 2021 Well getting interesting. National news was covering this disturbance tonight. 50% chance to develop over 2-5 days now. Direction of travel is anybody's guess really.
PelicanBill Posted July 26, 2021 Author #11 Share Posted July 26, 2021 This thing has drifted and weakened. Down to 30% chance to develop.
PelicanBill Posted July 26, 2021 Author #12 Share Posted July 26, 2021 In the Pacific we have this disturbance with 60% chance to form a storm, but, conditions are less favorable after a few days. It's moving west and should pass well south of the Hawaiian Islands.
PelicanBill Posted July 27, 2021 Author #13 Share Posted July 27, 2021 That disturbance in the Atlantic is withering away. The one south of Hawaii is gone. These two new areas are in the Pacific:
