Today’s sailing is also a western itinerary for the first time which is usually less popular and less expensive, I wouldent be surprised if we were back to 1100 just for this week. Like I said, when they pulled the sailing from the website there were a TON of regular oceanview and balcony rooms along with 12 sky suites and 6 celebrity suites available.

This is the first sailing that the retreat is not completely full.

The 6/26 sailing was western also.  On that sailing Cozumel was ship booked tours only and Costa Maya was ship booked tours or the immediately port area only, will probably be the same on this sailing as well.

No dog in this non-fight, but “Cruise Mate” sounds like Tinder for cruise fans. 🤣

OK…curiosity got the best of me.  Looked up “cruise mate” and came up with a product that is related to cruise control for Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  As confused as ever (which seems to be perpetual).

Whatever you two do, don't  look up Cruise Ship Mingle 😉😉

Ah ok was not sure. It was also inaugural which Probably infected attendance in some way.

The 6/26 sailing did not sail with sold out suites. It was pretty light. In fact all of the media onboard and a lot of the Celebrity/RCG employees were put in suites. Nearly all of the media left the ship on Wednesday.

There are more this week.

I heard about 1100 last week & 1450 this week. So definitely not dropping.

Based on open cabins on our upcoming cruises (7/24 & 31), they look to be around 50-60%.

Super excited to cruise on a ship with half the passengers!!

While booking our sailing ( The Edge 8/21/21 I was told by the Celebrity Rep that they are purposely sailing at small capacity & will continue to add more passengers ( slowly) each sailing.

Yes, it seems that way. NIce & slowly.

SO excited to get the privilege of sailing with these very reduced capacities.
