Post Cruise Tours in Seattle

Recommended Posts

Hello, Looking for post cruise tours in Seattle, since our flights will not be until early evening.  If we do a city tour or the hop on hop off bus in Seattle for the day, we'll need the best place to find the map for train to get to the airport.  We're hoping to do Port Valet, so that our luggage will be taken care of, and then it will be much easier to take that train from the city to the airport.  Any help or information would be helpful.  Thanks.

Generally speaking, if you are leaving from DT Seattle these are 5 stations that you could be departing from: Westlake; University Street; Pioneer Square;  International District/Chinatown, or Stadium.

Westlake  - is closest to Pike Place Market.

University Street - close to the Seattle Art museum.

Pioneer Square - would be close to the Seattle  Underground Tour.

International District - great Asian food.

Stadium - would be by the Mariner's Baseball and Sounders Soccer/ Seahawks Football stadium.

there is only a handful of old time Seattle tour companies

toursnorthwest.com

and

customizedtours.net

with the Pandemic there were lots of changes and unsure if the HOHO buses will return.  Take a look at the itineraries for the above two as they have been around a long time in Seattle.

Have you checked back on your cruise excursions list to see if something is now offered?   Mine was just added a couple of days ago.  In fact there are now 2 to choose from.

Reporting back on the Mt.Rainier tour with Nature Nuts.  A really nice day and much more than I expected.  Pick up was at 7:40 this morning, and we got back at 7:30 this evening.  We had nine in our freshly detailed van on a beautiful day and walked over 13k steps according to my iWatch.
The trip out and back to Rainier was about an hour and a half each way.  The longest hike of the day was about three miles over two hours.  We had three or four rest stops throughout the day and a delicious  lunch catered by Gourmando.  We saw the glaciers, a waterfall, and old growth forest.  I never felt rushed.  Michael was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Cold water and granola bars were available all day.
Bottom line — wonderful way to get out of town and enjoy the amazing scenery of Mt. Rainier.
