B2B Cruise on 2 Separate Ships in 2 different Florida Ports

Recommended Posts

Getting off a cruise in FLL and driving to PC to embark on another cruise. I am wondering what the protocol for this scenario would be? If you have the PCR test for the first cruise and the antigen test on Day 5 of that cruise, will that be enough to board the 2nd cruise? Obviously you can't get another PCR test because you would have been cruising and there isn't time...  What are your thoughts?

If you are vaccinated I don't believe that a PCR test is required

We have a B2B in Jan'22 getting off Sym in Mia and boarding Ody in FLL the next day.  We are also on a B2B in Mar'22 , getting off Rhap in Tampa and boarding Harm in PCL the next day.  We are all vaccinated and hope that does help with a B2B procedure.

Neither of these are B2B situations, but both work fine, especially if you like spending a night in the new city before the second sailing.  Recommend the Victory Casino cruise in Cape Canaveral if you want something to do that day (they sometimes have evening cruises and food is pretty good).

As long as they do not require us to get tested in Canaveral or Lauderdale the day before we sail the second half.  ( realize it is not really a B2B, but it does raise the same concerns as the OP).

We are also on a "real" B2B in November on Symphony and a December B2B on Rotterdam.  Did I mention we were really having cruise withdrawal?  As for the Victory Casino cruise, I imagine we will likely be saving our gambling $ for the second half.

But all you have to do is win instead of lose and it won’t dent your gambling budget.

We went on Victory in January when they were still limiting number of people and won around $400 on video poker (cancelled Disney B2B2B, so we flew to Florida anyway).  A lot more nickel machines than cruise lines have these days.  Table games were packed even then.  It was really a bummer to arrive in Canaveral and see Disney Dream sitting at the dock, since that was the ship we were supposed to get on.
