The Twilight Zone is a good guess.  🥴😀 Passing up India is a big deviation  and not sure exactly where they would go from there as that is quite a distance to the next feasible non-Indian port.

I would not want to be working for SS planning and logistics team, what a nightmare trying to plan routes with all the current restrictions in so many different countries. 

The choice of locations may be quite limited if they are not allowed to visit the various Asian countries from November 2021 to March 2022, also Australia and New Zealand are unlikely to open so maybe the Caribbean will be even busier than usual!

We’ve already lost 3-days in Myanmar.  If SS were to remove the four Indian ports from our voyage, it would be nothing like the cruise we intended to sail, let alone paid for.
