Modern, stylish but in my opinion also a little underwhelming. I do hope the staterooms and suites will feature bathtubs and separate showers.

Since I think the veranda cabins look terrific and the penthouses are definitely a step up, what underwhelms you?

I don't see bathtubs in anything lower than an Oceania suite... :classic_sad:

Good question. It’s looks very nice and modern don’t get me wrong. It just doesn’t wow or surprise me.

I get a little Celebrity Edge-styling vibe…

I’m sure it will look great, but I think the greys and whites color scheme will be already outdated before any guest even step on board.

Very impressed!  Modern and stylish!  I'm thrilled they have a large walk-in shower!  The room sizes and window/balcony positions look very similar to Riviera and Marina.  I wonder if the Vista will be identical with a few tweaks.  I'm booking for sure!

Identical to what? The O ships? Obviously not since there are no insides or Oceanview, although it does have the French Verandas. In the video on the website I think I noticed windows in the Executive Lounge in the instant clip of it. It also appears the Spa Terrace will be more open. I think they've also said that there will be a different Specialty restaurant also. So no, I'd say not identical.

Correct, not identical....but similar.  I think the size and shape of Vista will likely resemble the O ships and then they will change some things around.  Hopefully they will have some "promenade" space on either side like the R ships and the new Regent ships.  That would be very nice.

Jan, In the veranda, concierge and the penthouse the TV is in the same spot as it is now at the end of the bed - looks like another framed photo showing a seascape but if you look at the bottom there is a TV logo. I don't see one in the solo room though... Clare

I think I see a TV directly across from the sofa (for the solo cabin).

I think these look great, definitely adds a slightly modern and airy feel, at least in the pictures.

I do have a question about the tubs.  It seems some people really love them in addition to a shower.  For us, I think we would probably not use it and prefer a larger shower and closet for the same space.  Can the tubs be used all the time?  Might they be dependent upon the seas that day?  Do any of the current ships have a choice (other than the larger handicap shower) to skip the tub and get more room elsewhere?  From what I have seen the bathrooms in the Veranda cabins look plenty big at least on the O ships.

Then again on a second watching and pausing the video I think maybe it's just strategically placed round mirrors or artwork that seemed to suggest porthole windows. We'll see. My biggest complaint always with the Lounges is there is no view to the outside.

Anyone have an opinion on no insides or oceanviews? Looks like the bottom category is the French Veranda.

I was also wondering about the wording on the bed sizes. They state queen for the standard rooms. I wonder if these still split into. I think two singles is a  bit larger than one queen. Not being able to split them would be a can of worms. In the pictures it looks like the Solo Concierge bed is smaller than a double. I wouldn't be that happy with it if I were a single if that is the case.  I do see the Oceania suite room says it has the King size beds, so I'm assuming the ones above that do also.

O Class is 1250 pax, Vista will be 1200 but PH and A rooms will be larger and there is the new Solo  veranda rooms. All insides are gone.  I think they have needed to allocate more space for staff and medical needs as well but that is a guess.
I was talking to my O Specialist yesterday and she was working at Regent when they were completing their new build and she thought the mock ups for Vista were even nicer looking than Regent’s. Lots of high quality glitz and glam.
We are ready for September and the booking frenzy to come.

Hey, I think I’m at the bottom in my Concierge Level Solo Veranda! Blissfully at the bottom!

Solo bed looks like a twin, same as it would be if I share a stateroom w anyone besides DH. A twin bed. I’ll be blissfully sleeping in a twin (mattress).

Personally, using a "public" tub is a non-starter for me - I don't even use our tub at home and had the second one replaced with a large shower.

OK - I know that this is my personal opinion and choice and others have no such inhibitions. That said, it looks like one needs to poses the acrobatic skills of Simone Biles (or close to that) to get into and out of that tub. Her latest triple double should do it 😀 Just follow the moves in this video closely and you'll be fine. 😀
