Elliott Bay is like PortMiami Northwest tonight

Recommended Posts

What a difference a week makes, it's like a cruise ship convention in Seattle's Elliott Bay and adjacent waters:

-the NA is in her spot, Smith Cove west slip

-the Majestic Princess is now in the Smith Cove east slip (formerly Silver Muse)

-NCL Encore is at Pier 66

-Ovation of the Seas is out in the harbor in the vicinity of the cargo cranes

-Serenade of the Seas is under way for Seattle, currently off the coast near the Strait of Juan De Fuca

-Silver Muse is out in Puget Sound near Bainbridge Island; test cruise maybe?

I've never seen this many ships at once in our waters.

What fun! Might just have to book a harbor cruise to see them all.

I was thinking that it would have been a good evening to be on a ferry.

They are all still in the same vicinity as they were yesterday, although Serenade of the Seas is now in the Strait of Juan De Fuca very close to Puget Sound and Silver Muse has moved closer to Blake Island.

From the Edgewater Hotel.

Lucky you!  Good Seafood close by too.

Elliots' Oyster house just down the street.   (elegant)

CrabPot too. (casual)

Good Thai food everywhere.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info. Wife and I did a late night ferry jaunt. Southworth - Fauntleroy - Vashon. She kept asking me "what ferry is that?" Can't be a ferry !

Just happen to be staying here 🙂

Great Location!  But, what an ugly bow!

And Anthony's is even closer than those.

I personally really love the classic look of the HAL ships and much prefer it to whatever you call this.

17 July 2021, 3 ships docked and 2 ships anchored in Elliott Bay. One ship south of Bainbridge Island. It’s like s shopping mall at Christmas with no parking.

One week to go and I will be boarding the Nieuw Amsterdam.

Great choice, the Edgewater is a classic hotel venue!

I can't quite get used to that look either, even though I'm told it's a lovely ship.

Woohoo!  I'm so happy for all of you.  Not having anyone aboard a ship at any given time for how long now? 14 months?  Too weird!

Such a sight would almost make it worthwhile to make the trip down to King County.  Well, almost but not quite 😉.

I'm only 18 miles from the water and I have no desire to fight traffic and go over there!

Is that their whole test cruise?

I imagine they are provisioning and loading crew (if needed) and then shuffling ships to get everyone through. NA test cruise is the 18th.

Oh from the Inside that ship (Encore) and her sister ship the Bliss are beautiful. I actually think it looks beautiful.
