Yes! I even use a large smartphone that I no longer need for telephone but use it like a tablet, the keyboard is larger and make just as many errors.

We were at the famous Gretna Green today.

Couples who were too young and their parents wouldn't give them permission to marry in olden times would elope to Gretna Green to get married.

At least 1 of the couple had to live in Scotland for 14 days beforehand.

There was a couple getting married there today.

The famous Blacksmiths shop was behind me in the third photo.

Thanks. So interesting to find it’s a real place, although in the novels neither party had a 14 day residence. Guess that’s why they call it fiction!

The England/Scotland border is at Gretna.

It is junction 45 on the M6 motorway.

We live 85 miles from Gretna and have been many times.
