QR code almost worked in Scotland. Took me to my app but couldn't find the menu

The QR code has the address of the file , which would be located on the ships intranet, which would only be accessible  when onboard the ship.

QR code works for me in New Brunswick, Canada.  I noticed the same when I scanned one from the Lime & Coconut on freedom a few weeks ago

Stopped by CP when I got back to ship.

Park Cafe said CP is considered outside, no mask.

And here is a sign as you 'leave' CP reminding you to mask up

So, I'm not sure we have a definitive answer to CP madk situation

Speaking of back to the ship.

After wave pool and water slide, we spent reat of day at Oasis Pool in the shade. I had a few Michelob Ultra's and we ate Snack Shack.

Then Laura went back to shio and I stayed. After turning in towels I headed to ship and remembered I don't have a mask. Luckily I got one from security,  so now I have a navy blue one.😁

Diamond Lounge situation.

It's open, no service, but I did find a business card for Elaine Santana Diamond Concierge

Still have this sign up as you leave

And no coffee machine.

Coffee at Johnny Rockets was fine

Well let's build on that jealousy

Everything at PDCC was absolutely empty, but fully staffed. I kinda missed having people around

Wave pool was fun, would have been better with an inner tube.

Kinda like this 😉

So wonderful to see people enjoying themselves again on a ship.  It makes me get so excited for November.  If I could get the time off I’d go earlier.  While I’m not crazy about having to wear a mask, I’m ready to get back to doing the things we enjoy!

Hopefully that wasn't after spending $500.

Says she was down $100, so netted $300

I was up having a cigar with Mike.

Note to self, wearing mask after smoking a cigar is nasty.

The QR Codes aboard the ships actually use a service to redirect to a deep link based on some additional information.

The Johnny Rockets QR Code redirects to:

https://rcc.app.link/JohnnyRocketsMenu

app.link is a commercial service hosted on Amazon servers (What is app.link | Branch) that provides this sort of thing; one part of the step is based on the browser to return code to redirect the link through an installed app based upon the detected device. In my case when I captured this, it's redirecting my browser to:

http://ms-windows-store://pdp/?PFN&_branch_match_id=869689643569291716&utm_source=Print Media&utm_campaign=Johnny Rockets - Digital Menu&utm_medium=QR Code

Which basically does nothing; not sure it's even correct for a Windows desktop either, as I don't believe it should even get an http:// prefix; the "ms-windows-store://" should be the prefix to initiate looking for a Windows App for Royal Caribbean matching whatever rules are passed.

But in any case, it's unlikely they want to even provide access to the menus via QR Code on a desktop browser, so they may not even have configured any of this part of the API and we're just seeing it go a little weird if we try it this way.

While Central Park is technically outside, it is certainly an enclosed space. I think it makes sense to require masks in Central Park.

Think about how you refer to it: "IN" Central Park. As opposed to "ON" the pool deck, or "ON" the Boardwalk.

Nonsense

Lets circle back to my big balcony. I'm guessing its around 3' deeper than a std balcony. Very noticeable.  Fairly unique feature of Oasis class. Humps on other ships are nicely located, but size doesn't change much.

My balcony has 3 panels

20210728_070253.thumb.jpg.0393184eed05ffb8c7d6ef930b7d688c.jpg

Laura only has two

20210728_072136.thumb.jpg.8cd629951d001fd83782c2dd419e4385.jpg

However, I don't have loungers or foot stools to use with the extra space. Go figure
