The Daily for Saturday July 24, 2021

Recommended Posts

It's still raining here without any thunder, really unusual for a July day in Tucson.  It took Blue all morning to go outside, how can such a small dog go more than 14 hours to pee?  We would take him to the door, he would sniff and then snort, turn around and go back to his perch on the chair in the blanket.  Finally, I put him outside and left him alone and he finally went.  What an unusual dog he is.

I'm beyond excited about the people boarding today in Seattle.  Long time coming.  I really wish I was there.....

Thanks to Rich & Roy for the Daily.  Excitement is growing to hopefully be able to watch the sail away, today.  We’ll be boarding NA on two weeks, if all goes as planned!

Such a joyful day with the return to sailing and yet another tragedy in the Philadelphia area.
@rafinmd  another firefighter has died in the line of duty. Thomas Royds  , a member of the Belmont Hills FC responded with other members and a Pa  State Trooper to an accident on the Schuylkill Expressway when some incredibly stupid person drove around the vehicles and on the shoulder of the roadway and struck the 3 firefighters and the trooper. All were seriously injured, sadly Thomas died at the hospital.

The person is being changed with homicide by vehicle.💔

In a stoke of tragedy, Belmont is under the umbrella of Lower Merion fc where Sean DeMuncyk was a member 💔🙏

Thanks Roy, what’s even more frustrating is the accident they responded to was for 2 DUI morons. All participants have been charged.

Couldn’t stand watching today’s Nieuw Amsterdam sail away so we booked Nieuw Amsterdam to Alaska on Aug 7th.🛳

I was thinking of doing the same thing. DH thinks I’m nuts.

Hope that all those who are fortunate to be on the first HAL Alaskan cruise of this season have a wonderful cruise.

Thanks for all the information and photos of today's  port.

We have a grey day, rain is forecast, temperature only 6 C.

Stay safe everyone, take care.

Thanks, the driver that struck them was also DUI as were the 2 involved in the accident.   People will never learn.
