VIFP water

Ask the steward for a bucket of ice and put it in that (I'd rather have them at room temp though so they don't sweat in the bag and get everything wet).

Before Covid, Gold was to be used on the last night of the ship at any bar.  Platinum and up was for breakfast or brunch in dining room

I saw a picture of a paper that was left in the room that had QR codes on it.  You use that to access the perks list, room service and other information

Huh, awesome find! I didn’t even notice it in my cabin. Now I feel like I gotta go scanning every QR code I see.

This is the actual paper in the room for suites. It should be similar for other rooms.  The above was the details from the Carnival website.

4 don't fit in a bucket LoL just asking if they're cool so i could wait to get them the day of if possible.  I have the carnival neoprene shoulder bags for them.  They are great for wine bottles on embarkation day then water bottles after

I would not count on them being cool for you to grab them the morning of an excursion.

Nothing listed on where to get our perks, however our amazing cabin steward told us where we needed to go to pick everything up.

They were room temp.  As others have said, our cabin steward put a bucket of ice in the fridge for us and it kept the bottles cold.  The smaller bottles from the bar were always cold when handed to us.

If you have an unopened bottle of room temperature water, you can exchange it at any bar for a cold one before you exit the ship.

2 weeks before your cruise you will get the below e-mail:

Dear Valued Platinum and Diamond Guests,

This communication is being sent to our booked Platinum and Diamond guests.  It is independent from any request our guests might have pending for an exemption to vaccine requirements, and the receipt of this communication is not any indication of the status of your request.

We are eager to get back to cruising and want to thank you for the loyalty and support you have shown Carnival. 

As we plan for the restart of our operations, we want to make you aware of the new way you will redeem your VIFP amenities.  These changes were designed in accordance with our new Have Fun. Be Safe. protocols to minimize the number of stateroom deliveries, while making it easier for you to collect some of your benefits.

Moving forward, certain VIFP amenities will be linked to your Sail & Sign folio for electronic redemption, like how we currently handle complimentary laundry.  Simply claim your benefit, using your Sail & Sign card, and a one-time credit for that item will be posted on your folio and be visible on your statement.

  • STATEROOM ACCESS – Due to enhanced cleaning and sanitation, staterooms may not be ready at the time of boarding for the early Arrival Appointments.   If you have not checked your bags, feel free to quickly drop off your luggage while our crew puts the finishing touches on your stateroom.  This will allow you to complete your e-mustering process and start your vacation promptly.

We are gold and get one complimentary beverage. Do we have to ask for it or will they automatically comp one of our drinks on the last evening? I guess we'll have to be sure to use DW's sail and sign for one of them as well. Probably way overthinking this but we are certainly ready for our next cruise.
