Yesterday, Ama changed their policies and you  must be fully vaccinated to board their ships.  They also recommend a negative PCR test but are not requiring it.  I hope this doesn't effect anybody.

Uniworld did the same thing yesterday, requiring vaccines.

I board the River Duchess in about 10 days but no email yet from Uniworld (they changed my air 2 days ago w/o correctly notifying my TA, so…..).

As I am vaccinated, it’s possible my TA already provided this information to them 3 or 4 weeks ago when I booked this cruise last minute.
If the decision is recent, they should have notified me and/or TA. Probably another F/U on their part.

They still have me flying into Budapest even though Hungary is one of the few countries that still doesn’t allow US citizens to enter the country…..

Well I dunno know. We’re boarding September 9 and we just now did the health questionnaire. Still shows options other options than full vaccination. Not debating just reflecting today’s reality.

We are 15 days out from our departure to Paris and Ama has yet to send us our E-docs or flight information. They have offered no information about COVID restrictions or advice. I did call them a few days ago and they provided our flight data which I appreciated but let's face it, that's the least of our concerns right now. 🤷‍♂️

Hi, we’re on an AMA pretrip and cruise in December 🤞🏼.  Have you gone into their website https://www.amawaterways.com, top right corner is the header My Cruise, click into that,  you’ll need your booking number, there’s a wealth of information and lots of info you’ll need provide.  Also there is an online health questionnaire you’ll need to fill out NOW.

Sorry if you’re aware of this, just wanted to pass along what I found today.  I haven’t heard anything from our TA or AMA.  Also saw that AMA is requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated.

Enjoy your travels.

Thanks for the tip but our situation is a bit different. Ama worked with our TA last year to offer some discounted pricing and extra perks. I believe our cruise is being handled as a group trip rather than as individual bookings. We don't have a booking number yet but (hopefully 🙏 ) that will arriving this week. I'm the OCD guy who normally has to fill out all the pre-cruise forms and files first thing so this waiting is killing me. LOL

Thanks for the advice and offer of help. I appreciate you taking the time to speak up. Have a great trip in Dec. Hopefully the COVID situation will be calmer then.
