It's a win because you take an empty room with no tips, and add a room with tips.....so of course it's a win

I assume the number of people is the same so the tip amount should be the same but the cabin steward now has another cabin to tend to.

My husband is a terrible snorer and we sleep in separate bedrooms at home because of it (the alternative was to live apart but I thought that was a bit extreme 😂). I’ve often thought about booking a 2 bedroom suite when we cruise, just a pity they’re so expensive🤑

How about looking into getting a C-Pap, get tested and fitted for one, it could save you life.

pro-tip for traveling with noisy sleepers...the beds fit on the balcony on Quantum class ships. Dawn comes early but there is no sweeter sleep than listening to the sea.

You do need to bring it back in every morning though.

Got a long way to go to reach 340 points, we’re only at just over 200 unfortunately.

Speak for yourself.

I'm currently at 113 points.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be over 340 points by the middle of May 2022 in "only" three trips (lots of S2S and B2B to limit spending on airfare/hotels).

Solo = 4pts/night:

4: RCCL Freedom of the Seas -- 11/15/21
7: RCCL Symphony of the Seas -- 11/20/21
8: RCCL Allure of the Seas -- 11/27/21
6: RCCL Allure of the Seas -- 12/05/21
6: RCCL Jewel of the Seas -- 12/12/21

Roommate = 2pts/night
7: RCCL Navigator of the Seas -- 01/17/22
4: RCCL Navigator of the Seas -- 01/24/22
3: RCCL Navigator of the Seas -- 01/28/22

Solo = 4pts/night:
7: RCCL Symphony of the Seas -- 04/23/22
8: RCCL Explorer of the Seas -- 04/30/22
6: RCCL Explorer of the Seas -- 05/08/22

I think we both will be on allure 12/5 but it's your 2nd leg and my 1st leg of a b2b

Yes, I remember that sad story. Passed away at the young age of 43. His widow has been doing much to raise awareness about sleep apnea.  A C-pap can be a life saver!

Yes, my second leg on that one, and my fourth out of five cruises, so I'll be looking mighty rumpled by the time you see me!   There's only so much you can do when you're washing clothes in the bathroom sink! LOL

It makes sense to offer that now as they have limits on the numbers of passengers, they keep the #’s the same but utilize the unused cabins.
It’s a shame they don’t offer the option to combine cabins to upgrade to a suite, people ask for that all the time.

Before the pandemic:

Actually, getting off between B2B cruises to do laundry at a laundry mat in PC or Ft. Lauderdale was easy. You can find many people who drive to the port that would drop you off at the laundry mat. Uber or cab back.
Both cities have laundry mats less than 2 miles once you get out of the port area.
Easy Peasy.
