They are not required in the Vaccinated zones

I wonder if they will restrict the amount of people in the casino. Currently according to RCL, the unvaccinated can pass through the casino. Big mistake!

Have you priced one?  I am pretty certain, that Mrs xpcdoojk would not approve.

I am waiting for our friend Andrew to build one in Ontario, and when I retire, I am going to park my future Airstream in his yard for at least a few weeks every summer.

Can we park there, too? All my husband and son want to do is Flowride...😁  Hoping to be on Allure for Thanksgiving so they can do just that while I watch in the stands with my frozen drink!

You need to put one of those Flow Riders at your house, you would save money rather then buying cruises.................

I know they are expensive! More expensive to operate though.

Have you seen the one in the backyard of a house as you sail out of Fort Lauderdale!?

That wasn't the case on our Allure test cruise. They had the casino staff checking bands. No passing through

Most of the unvaccinated on Allure are kids under 12.  They aren't allowed into the Casino.

I think Allure has moved to 100% vaccinated except for kids under 12 as the Virgin Islands won't let the ship dock with unvaccinated passengers 12 and over.

About 10 years ago we were having a fun conversation with our kids because we bought Powerball tickets.  (We have maybe bought powerball tickets three times in our life but the prize was really high and like so many others we got sucked in) . We all had a wish list of what we would get if we won the lottery, and one of our kids talked about a Flowrider. At the time we actually priced it out and I want to say it was around $700,000 for the size that Royal Caribbean has. (We called flowrider and got quotes).  And that’s before grading the land etc. And operating it was estimated to be $40 of electricity per hour.    Maybe it was more and that was also 10ish years ago. I just remember thinking that would only happen if we won the lottery.

Shockingly we  didn’t win. It was quite an interesting conversation and one of our kids designed a whole facility with the flowrider, racquetball, bowling alley and can’t remember what else. We were all surprised at how much one actually cost to install.

About $450,000 for a Flow Rider( that's about 45 cruises for you)....think about it though much cheaper then a wave pool......which is between 1.5 million and 2 million.

He does, and I think approves.  However when the Welsh Terrier puppy shows up and starts tearing up his lovely flowers, I will probably get an eviction notice.  That said, I have seen no indication that he has any plans of starting the dig.  But we have to believe in something don’t we?😆

I wrote up something about our first day and it didn't looks like it didn't post! Ugh! I'll try recap quickly. 1700 people onboard. Feels very empty in a good way. Staff very happy to have passengers and we brought our cabin attendant a care package of toiletries and he was SO moved. Highly recommend doing so if you can. Masks need to be worn in general spaces though it is so worth it to have a ship to yourself like this! Activities seems a little more limited than usually but I noticed they just added more to the planner so we'll see how the week progresses. We weren't able to book entertainment for this cruise pre-cruise and it seems to all be taken now so heads up to get on that. Casino was awesome on first night, no wait for tables.

How do you book entertainment when your on the ship? Is there an entertainment desk outside the theater

Are the parades happening? Our almost 4 year old grandaughter has been looking forward to them next week so would like to let her know if they are not happening. Thank you!

Adventure didn't have any parades when I was last aboard pre-covid.
