Thanks for the feedback on the water park, glad you had such a good time!  How were the lines with Freedom in port at the same time?

Even with two ships I'm sure the island is relatively empty, but I was expecting that Adventure would be in port alone for both days next week, and just tonight realized that Freedom is scheduled to be there on the second day as well.  Of course it is the day I booked for the water park.  Trying to decide if I should bother trying to move our reservation to the first day, when I believe Adventure will be there alone.

No big deal at all, never waited for longer than a minute at most.

Some more random thoughts:

- CocoCay was awesome, this was my first time there and it didn’t disappoint

- The Water Cabanas were definitely the highlight of my vacation. The entire family snorkeled a ton around it, and we got to see a variety of fish, stingrays, barracudas, plenty of crabs in shells. Awesome.

- Service in those cabanas is also top notch. Every 15 minutes or so your attendant checks if you need anything.

- Loved the slide and shower as well.

- Now onto the beach club: maybe I was spoiled with the cabana but I was a bit underwhelmed with the club. The food was good but maybe overhyped? Loved the filet but was disappointed with the lobster sandwich. Maybe I expected a NE lobster roll instead of fried lobster? Personally I would never pay money for the club itself in the future. However, those cabanas…

- Went to a show last night with the kids. Highly entertaining. Had to go to the “unvaccinated” deck 5 level, no big deal. Just don’t understand why the first balcony row was not available because of social distancing. It’s kind of silly if you ask me.

Today is a sea day, first day of kids club for us (yay!). I am also checking to see what kind of deals they have for future cruises (my TA recommended to definitely check it out, and to ensure to list her at my TA). We are planning a Mediterranean cruise next August (Odyssey or Allure) and a NYC birthday cruise for me in January (Anthem).

A few thoughts on our club/water Cabana experience.  The Cabana was worth every penny -- not something we could do often, but sooooo glad we were able to on this trip.  It was simply a spectacular, perfect day in every way.  Having the food delivered whenever you want (vs just a club pass where you can only have the apps during your lunch service), the wet bar with beer, sparkling wine, hard seltzer, Evian and soda to enjoy at your leisure and very attentive attendants it was divine.  The size of the space, the furnishings and lovely breeze are all very comfortable and relaxing.  Also loved the shower for rinsing off the salt water.

Yesterday was our first sea day.  A lot of people have commented that having a sea day later in the cruise made it harder to get familiarized with the ship.  So we did little more exploring during the day.

We had our first Giovanni's breakfast, first set of laps on deck, first ice show, mini golf, beer at the Duck and Dog, MDR lunch, johhny Rockets lunch to make up for the uninspired MDR lunch, and Silent Disco.

I know everyone wants more info on masking.  It's annoying for a second that you have to grab it but you really only wear them to and from while indoors.  I do wish I would remember in the evening before I put lipstick on 🙄 because they don't play well together 😝

One thing we had at lunch that was wonderful was the roasted potato soup.  Have had various soups so far, and all have been really good, so don't overlook them 😊

And while in the suite lounge, Jennie switched us over to the rubber bracelets -- apparently they finally got a supply to start giving out 😊

This is such a great review--thank you! Is Johnny Rockett's free of charge? I'm on Freedom (not sure if it's different?) and I saw a you tube review that mentioned it is an up charge, but the menu on the app doesn't seem to list prices so was just curious.

Some more random thoughts since my last update:

- For excursions, stick with ship time. In Cozumel my phone automatically adjusted for the 1hr time difference which made me almost miss my excursion.

- Speaking of which, I forgot my wallet. Sorry, Mexico economy. We did the dune buggy excursion which was fun, but no dune/beach to be seen for driving. No biggie.

- Kids club: they separate children in bubbles, and they won’t interact with others. Not sure how that works if you only have 1 kid. You need to make reservations in 3 hour blocks in advance. We had them in between 2pm-5pm and they seemed to like it. They do arts&crafts, science and watch a movie (Moana yesterday).

- They do not serve draft beer anywhere (bit of a bummer)

- Like with was written above, masks are nog a big deal. The first day I was a bit annoyed by it, but you get used to it quickly. It’s a small price to pay in order to sail.

It's $9.95 pp, unlimited and the milkshakes are covered by the drink package.  We got the #12 (chili red sauce on the side) and it was really good

We had a very casual day -- and @exm we got you covered on the economy bump.  Enjoyed some drinks at Frida, where we were turned on to a new to us tequila, Herradura Ultra.  We bought the only bottle we could find.  We also got a bit of jewelry for me and our daughters.  It was very hot and humid, so happy to be back onboard and showered.  Enjoying the cheese plate the captain sent us since we missed lunch

Just the day 5 antigen testing for my party of 6. No big deal and all negative. Just some confusion since someone mentioned that NYS needs a PCR test which is a false rumor.

Another beautiful, but a bit windy, sea day.
