Time to Chime In. We were on the Trans Pacific Cruise with you in 2018  or maybe it was 2017. Unfortunately  our cruising  days are also over. David is 95 and we both have health issues We were lucky to Cruise most of the world  60 cruises. I have enjoyed your blog. Brings back so many memories. Last  Cruise  was 2019 on the Summit from San Juan.  Did have the Infinity booked for the the crossing last April

Thanks for all the memories.

You can’t but live Caribbean Sunsets.   We rarely get sunsets in Northern California

What phone do you have to take such amazing pics?
Do you leave it on auto? if not, what settings?

(i have an Android 10 phone (Motorola) with 3 cameras but leave it on auto :classic_ohmy: )

Jim & Iain: I have been following along vicariously & enjoying every bit of your posts and pictures. The most recent sunset pic is absolutely incredible. Thanks again for sharing.

The amount of time and effort you have devoted to blogging your experience on this cruise is so so much appreciated.

Thanks again and enjoy the remaining sea days. Happy & safe travels back home.

Jim, one request if I may (not even sure if I am allowed to ask this according to CC rules).

Would you be able to share the original high-def version of your most recent sunset pic (via email I guess). I enjoyed it so much, with your permission, I’d like to have it printed and framed.

Thanks for your consideration.

No love for my David McCullough 'Path Between the Seas' entry for Panama cruisers?

An excellent book.  I would say required reading if you're going to do a Panama Canal cruise.  You will get a lot more out of cruising the Canal if you've read the book.

Agreed. Absolutely essential reading prior to one’s first Panama Canal cruise.

I use an iPhone 12 Max Pro.  I usually shoot in Auto and then play around with settings.    I personally find that an iPhone over exposes photos and need a little tweak.

@Jim_Iain That sunset picture is so popular you may want to make a bunch of prints and sell them at the next Art Auction. 😀Double the price if you sign them.

FYI - I do agree it is breathtaking. Well done sir!

LOL... But my picture would be "REAL ART".      Oopps I didn't say that did I.

Last night was the last Chic night.   The mood has been high on this special evening and so much energy.

We had pre-dinner drinks with Jack and Suzanne in the  Retreat.   They were off to a comped dinner at Tuscan (Blue Chip Club) and we chose Luminae.

Oh Jim this brought a tear to my eye that this magical journey  will be over when I wake up in the morning. Have loved every minute of this. Not sure what I am going to do now while waiting for my cruise Equinox Oct 29.

You and Lian are so handsome, you look like the James Bond twins. Have loved every picture and word. I am not the only one who has enjoyed this trip 85 pages and counting says alot about how people enjoy following you.

Enjoy your last day and prepare for your trip home.

Another outstanding photo. What a handsome couple.!

Have you ever thought of putting together an art book?

I am an avid gardener and thought I might do a small photobook or calendar of my favorite flower/ garden pics....would help clear out my phone and tablet galleries.  Have made photobooks of family events but this might be fun too.

We stopped making cruise photo albums yrs ago and ,need to thin those out,

. Hard to part with.. they captured so many memories,
