did i read that you need reservations for the buffet or just open seating? also it is self serve?

What you read may have been true at first but I believe is no longer the case....also it's been posted no self serve..crew serves....but some recent pics show some items you can serve yourself.

What hotel did you opt for .... we've only stayed at Hotel 1898 & The Jazz.

We stopped at the Del Mar. Wanted to be nearer the beach this time as we have done Las Ramblas and the sights previously. The hotel is only about 10/15 minutes easy walk from both the marina and beach. It’s ideal if like us, you want to spend an afternoon on the beach the day before boarding the ship.

Yes for items that are pre plated on small plates.
