Hello. Could someone please help me verify if this test result will be accepted by Celebrity? We scheduled the "Diagnostic Lab Test (PCR)" at Walgreens on September 7, 9:30AM PDT, and got the results today, September 8, 8:30PM PDT. We will fly to Seattle tomorrow, September 9, 12:25PM PDT for our September 10 Alaska sailing. We got the results below and just wanted to make sure it is okay. We scheduled the PCR Test in particular but the results below did not specifically say this. This is our first time doing the COVID test (and sailing), and not very familiar with the tests. Would appreciate any help so we could schedule a different test ASAP if needed.Results.png.3c1c95210b7db4e201e4f23a879d7787.png

Celebrity mention both PCR and NAAT as acceptable descriptions for the molecular test, you had the NAAT:

Accepted Types of Tests and Results

  • There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests and we accept either one:
    • A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test
    • An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test”

…as long as the results you have specify the date, your name etc. They you are good to go.

Hi Mark! Thank you!!! I was just confused with the PCR vs NAAT because the reminder emails I received from Celebrity a few days ago only mention PCR or Antigen tests. Thank you for sending the Celebrity FAQ!!!

From https://www.celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea/faqs#testing-and-screening-faqs:

"This test may be taken as either a PCR or an Antigen test, conducted within two days of boarding the vessel."

Your test must be dated the 8th or 9th for sailing on the 10th.

That applies to sailings from the 13th though... It was 3 days and became 2 days recently, but the two day change is effective from the 13th.
