Port of Cobh Ireland closed from cruise ships until next year?

The enclosed article from the Irish Examiner seems to imply that cruise ships will not return to Cobh until next year. Have heard nothing from Princess as to cancellation of this port of call. Port of Cobh website however lists several cruises ships calling this year including Sky Princess.

Edit: I misread - next year is fine for cruising there, but I think you are correct that it seems there won't be any stops this year at all.

 

Well that's no fun. So far there is no change to my booking for next August that includes Cobh. We did just have a bit of change recently when the main Dublin Port limited ships, and we are now coming in to dun Laoghaire.

My guess Alcairns is that this is some poor journalism in regard to the Irish Examiner and the port of Cork not updating their website, I found the follow that seems to suggest it will go ahead, I hope:

I will post this as well on our roll call, but as we all know things can change very quickly
