I am going back to Roatan again.

1. I remember taking a $2 bus in the town to West End. Does it still exists?

2. No bus go to West Bay right?

3. Can I take public bus else where? Any other good beach to go?

Thank you for your help.

Yes the mini bus still run.

From what I understand there are three routes all starting in Copxen Hole, one to the East End, one to West End and one to Flowers Bay. I don't think I have ever seen beach in Flowers Bay but I may not have been paying attention. There may be some snorkeling on offer as well.

No bus to West Bay BUT you could bus to West End and water taxi to West Bay.

Keep in mind that these don't follow regular schedules and will stop for locals just standing along side of the road flagging them down.  So you need to keep an eye on your time and give yourself plenty to get back to the ship.  Especially if docked out in Mahogany Bay.  The stop there is along side the main road and is about a 3/4 mile hike from the cruise port.

I think these days they are on regular schedules, at least the Coxen Hole/West End bus is. I leaves both place every 15 mins, they have a guy tracking time with a watch and whistle now. But as said above there are several variable to actual arrival time, one being how many times to  they stop for passeagers.

I ride the bus a fair amount when I am on the island and I can tell you if I had to be in Mahognay Bay at a specific time I would find another way.  You could mini bus to Coxen Hole and taxi from there.
