If it covers cruises and the amounts required then there is no reason why they shouldnt. Many of the problems with insurance started when seacation/staycation cruises started and didnt have any ports of call so there was confusion about medical coverage costs and evacuation costs.

You can get a confirmation of cover letter from the Nationwide insurance web site.

The current version states "This policy will provide cover for emergency medical and repartiation costs up to £10,000,000 when you are travelling on a cruise including UK cruises"

Its not whether P&O will accept that company it's whether your cover is enough to cover Covid, Quarantine and repatriation costs.
