I couldn't tell from the deck plan:  In the Spa, there seems to be a separate hot tub for men and for women.  And then there is a rectangular pool in what appears to be a common area.  Is this a heated "Therapy Pool"?  If so, what is the temperature?

And this area is accessible with a fee-based Spa pass?  For the entire cruise, per day, or per use?

We'll be in the Haven, but I really hate "cold water".   Brrrrr.

Many thanks!

I’ve been in the spa on the gem, yes it’s a pool and it’s warm. I believe the hot tubs were in the locker rooms. They sell weekly spa passes, occasionally day passes.

Great!  Is it as warm as "a hot tub" (which can vary, of course, but they do tend to be really warm).

A hot tub in the locker room?  Bleh.

But that's not an issue for us here, as we'd want to be poaching together. 😉

Many thanks.

It is warm but not steaming hot. Just a tip for those with creaky knees, there is a ladder but no steps into the pool.

Ah, thanks for the info about the ladder.  Very good to know!

How deep is it, or how deep is it where the ladder is, and how far down does the ladder go?

And do you happen to remember if the ladder rungs are narrow diameter pipe type, or perhaps something a bit flattened, wider?

It has been awhile. I remember it being maybe waist deep. The ladder was thin wood slats. It may have been upgraded since I was there. The first step was just high enough to cause pain!
