mahasamatman Posted February 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2022 Does anyone have any inside information on what itineraries Queen Anne will be sailing in 2024? According to one article I read, it should be going on sale in May, so it's not that far off.
majortom10 Posted February 20, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2022 I dont think itineraries will be released until very close to the May date of sale just to hype up the expectation and create a panic in a rush to book.
mahasamatman Posted May 12, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted May 12, 2022 (edited) Cruises for Jan-Apr 2024 are listed on cunard.com. Cabins go on sale next week. Edited May 12, 2022 by mahasamatman
sogne Posted May 12, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2022 If Funchal port authority ids correct QA will be there for the NY 24/5 and appears to be there New Years Day until 1800
Rare ak1004 Posted May 12, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2022 QA maiden voyage is $3,200 USD for 7 nights??? That's $460 USD/night for entry level balcony. We booked Silversea for less, and they include everything (all drinks, internet, gratuities, specialty restaurants, excursions etc)

(And they only include some specialty restaurants, not all.) https://www.silversea.com/destinations/africa-indian-ocean-cruise/dubai-to-mumbai-sl221208012.html Yes, they are typically more expensive. But even around $600-700 USD/night, still a much better deal than $460 on Cunard when you account for all inclusions. Yes, I know that Cunard fans are very excited about the new ship, but $460/night for Cunard for an entry level cabin is insane.
Rare ak1004 Posted May 12, 2022 #8 Share Posted May 12, 2022 P.S. Maiden cruises on Oceania new ship Vista are less than $400 pre night, and they also include much more than Cunard. And you cannot really compare Cunard with Oceania.

Why aren't we particularly excited? Ship is bit bigger with almost 1000 more passengers Strange QG restaurant and Grills lounge layout As we haven't seen the interior, I can't add any more apart from it's a gut feeling. That's not to say never, but we decided not to sail on the Maiden and will let others go and report back.

Just be aware in case you weren't already that your prices above are being quoted in Canadian dollars. Here are the prices in US dollars showing the entry level price for a Britannia Balcony at $2,399 per person for Queen Anne's Maiden Voyage. They mention it only on final checkout, and the site URL has no indication that's it's Canadian site.. So yes, this makes more sense, although $460 CAD is still not cheap. We just booked a cruise on Oceania new ship Vista at $445 CAD night. Oceania Riviera and Marina are typically around $400 CAD or less.
