Parking and / or hotel stay with parking included March 20

Hello, we will be cruising out of New Orleans on March 20th for a 7 day cruise. We will be driving in. We did this about five years ago and stayed at a hotel (forgot the name) across the bridge from the Carnival Port. Some questions: 1) Fulton Place lot, is it a big deal to get rooftop parking? What is the downside if we can save a few bucks?  1) Or any leads on a cheap cruise and stay parking package. We don't mind not being downtown and will be coming from the northeast. Key word in this post is CHEAP. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

We are cruising out of Nola in July.

We have Marrero West booked for a cruise and stay package.

Anyone have any reviews on this location.

It's better to post this on the Gulf Coast Departures board. This board is intended for questions about NOLA as a port of call, which is why you don't see questions of the type your asking getting a lot of answers on this board.

One of my friends from Where's George always stay at the Holiday Inn New Orleans West Bank Tower to take advantage of the hotel's Stay, Park, & Cruise package.
