Non vaxxed kids

We read that nonvaxxed kids under 12 could go to Nassau with a negative pcr test. We received a message that our eight year old granddaughter couldn't go ashore. Some parents found out that fact at the Port. Disappointing for us but she loved the pools on board. Another let down.

Anyone have an update on how Nassau is handling non-vaxed children? The Bahamas gov site only says 12 and over must be vaxed for cruise passangers. There is only guidance for 2-12 unvaxxed traverls health visas for those vacationing on the island not cruise passengers.
