Dunedin:Trouble with train blocking you from getting to transportation

We had a local tour set up in downtown Dunedin to the Lanarch Castle and other sites. We planned to use the bus into town only to find it was blocked until the train tour left. We went to the left and found scads of taxi's waiting. If fact, the driver would have taken the four of us around for the same price. We were the only people touring the castle and left as the mob from the ship's tour were coming.

I loved how the towns of NZ welcomed us on the pier and again on departing-choirs, bands, and the Town Crier at Christchurch. He yells up at 6 AM with a "Wakey Wakey, Mates!" Starboard side is generally the best.
