Viking provide a summary of the coverage when you book, which includes a link to the policy documents. Should you have specific questions, we may be able to assist with answers. Flgreg Posted June 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2022 We made final payment on a cruise that departs late November 2022 and purchased the TripMate coverage through Viking but just noticed in the TripMate information it states the coverage can't be purchased more than 120 days prior to departure. So, since we bought the insurance more than 120 days prior to departure does that the coverage isn't valid? We'll be grateful for any responses from others in the same situation. You may have that a bit reversed - the wording is "This Plan may only be purchased up to 120 days (180 days for voyages of 35 days or longer) prior to Your Viking Cruises scheduled departure date." In other words, you have to buy the insurance at least 120 days before your cruise - there's no "too early" date. 🍺🥌
