ccc321 Posted June 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Ive searched but couldn’t find anything. What are the most useful thing you’ve brought on youre cruise. I like the idea of bringing magnetic hooks for hats, bags, and anything else you can hang
tonit964 Posted June 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2022 I always bring a flameless (battery) candle for the bathroom at night. It provides a soft glow rather than the blaring bright light that blinds you trying to make your way back to bed.
Sea saw 56 Posted June 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2022 We bring small rechargeable fans. We are used to sleeping under a ceiling fan at night, so it's hard to sleep without a bit of noise and air moving in the bedroom. They charge via a USB cord that is included, we got them on Am$zon. We also used them out on our balcony in the Caribbean.
RocketMan275 Posted June 18, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Five or six bottles of very good wine to have rather than the overpriced/not so good wines served by the cruise line. 3
TrumpyNor Posted June 18, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2022 3-4 fridge magnets, to hang up the Freestyle Daily etc. as the walls in the cabins are metal. A highlighter/textmarker to highlight stuff in the Freestyle Daily that may be of interest that day. 2
SpacemanSpiff Posted June 18, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Something I always travel with - some blue painters tape. It's a good temporary fix, can cover the door peephole, etc.
The Shrike Posted June 18, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2022 My wife. 🙂 A clothespin to secure drapes so we can block as much light as possible. Earplugs. 6

z4oslo Posted June 18, 2022 #10 Share Posted June 18, 2022 The most useful I have brought, is my clothes. I have prevented many ackward situations during my stay on the ship. I get that it can be convenient to be wrapped in a towel for 7-14 days, but you also miss out on potential fun, like strip poker! 1

But you’re all set for the Toga party and the ship does all your laundry free. 😬 1

The door peephole sometimes needs to be covered because depending on the position of the bed, the light from the hallway through the peephole shines like a flashlight in one's eyes at night.

We use the pants hangers from the closet to do that. Works great! 4
mjcatlvr Posted June 18, 2022 #16 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Lightweight nylon tote. Great to take into town, to the pool or the beach and once used it to carry home some souvenirs that wouldn't fit in the suitcase. Fits easily in my pocket. Jason82 Posted June 18, 2022 #17 Share Posted June 18, 2022 An appetite, positive attitude, and ability not to take yourself too seriously. 😃 Clothes for any weather...We've had 70's in Juneau and several inches of rain in Roatan, just for an example. I love the soft light idea for the bathroom.

We pack Aspirin, Pepto Bismol, DayQuil, NiQuil, Allergy Tabs, Bandaids, Alcohol wipes, Poison Ivy wipes etc... we come prepared for anything since we do like to get out and enjoy everywhere!!! All of this stuff is hard to find in ports then very expensive when you do find it. Edited June 18, 2022 by mjcatlvr
