Asking one last time about Excursions

Leaving in 2 weeks and are just curious for those that have sailed in Europe in the last few weeks whether or not you can book 3rd party excursions. 
 

We are looking at the following countries:

 

Italy

Croatia

Montenegro

Greece

 

Phoned Celebrity and they were no help.

You may get info by posting on a roll call for a similar cruise.

The answer is yes and Google is very helpful

I normally use www.toursbylocals.com in Europe to book our excursions.  Don't know what might be available for your cruise but you can check it out.

Absolutely! We were on the Beyond June 4th and I booked most of our excursions through italytours.eu and one through Tours By Locals.

 

Check with your Roll Call to see what others have booked.

 

In 2018, I used Montenegro M Tours for a fabulous small group tour. Another member of our Roll Call used Dubrovnik Shore Tours to set up small group tours in Croatia.

You should check out the “Ports of Call” forum. That’s where I always go to get excursion ideas.

That’s because it’s still a fluid situation. We were told  just before we sailed by email from Celebrity that you would only be allowed off the ship if you were booked on a Celebrity excursion.

On our first day at sea, the Captain told us we could now get off the ship by ourselves.

That was last August, but is still is dependant on local COVID laws.

Indeed, currently all Mediterranean European countries allow independent excursions. Yet rules might change on short notice.
