quinrae's sister Posted July 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2022 I plan to drive to FL instead of flying to Orlando because of the increase in air tickets. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to stay by Cape Canaveral port? It would be nice to be able to park there for 7 days, or is there parking by port? and how much? We always book the Radisson at the Port Stay/Park/Shuttle package, although it's gotten really pricey lately.
Jkaczanowski Posted July 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2022 We liked the the Hampton Inn and Suites in Cape Canaveral in February

We used to stay there years ago, but as you said, prices have gone up a bit - and the hotel has declined considerably. Now we always stay at the Hyatt Place in Titusville. Good rates (w/membership) and the brand is consistent everywhere. You always know what to expect. And it's an easy 15-20 minute drive to the port. rebeccac Posted July 27, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2022 There is parking at the port. Not sure if it varies by cruise line or if the price is set by the port, but for our NCL cruise last November, I think it cost $136 for the week. There will be cheaper off site parking, but personally we have not had good luck with that (getting to the ship was fine, getting back to the car after the cruise was a complete cluster).
GTO-Girl Posted July 27, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2022 We love the Hampton Inn Cruise Port but they have a smaller parking lot and do not encourage parking there while on a cruise by charging $40 per night!! Country Inn & Suites is across the street and they do a lot of cruise parking and have a great shuttle…. Also check Residence Inn, Homewood Suites and Springhill Suites as they are all in the same area and all are about a mile from the port….
CruiserLucas Posted July 27, 2022 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2022 We stayed at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in February. It was nice and is near the port. Not directly across level of near, but 10-15 minutes down the road.
Cutigerlady Posted July 27, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 27, 2022 We stayed at the Home2Suites which is connected to the Hampton Inn. They do offer a package to park there and a shuttle to the port, however we found it cheaper to just park at the port. There is also a Homewood Suites that offers the package. tvman18 Posted July 27, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 27, 2022 Home2Suites has raised there price way up, $300+ and charge to park for the cruise. Drive 20 minutes down I95 to Melbourne, Home2Suites there are $160( half price).
GEORGIEGIRL Posted July 28, 2022 #10 Share Posted July 28, 2022 Try the "Holiday inn Express" Cocoa. Not far from the cruise terminal (maybe 5 mins.) They have a decent breakfast, and then just head to the port to park (I think it is $20.00 a day).
Joseph2017China Posted July 28, 2022 #11 Share Posted July 28, 2022 Hotels can be found with Expedia, or Orbitz, and many other search engines. You may also use Google, and that would get you a nice list. For the price of the parking, check out google, and search "parking at Port Canaveral" and you can find out the prices.
