Juneau - Have a Car and 12 Hours...suggestions?

We port in Juneau from 7 am till 7 pm on August 4th.  We will have a rental car.  Plan to go first to Mendenhall Glacier and do the falls loop trail and check out the visitors center.   Would do another trail there if it's not super long or steep.  We are experienced hikers but I'm still a little behind my game after having covid last month.

 

Where else would you recommend to hike/sightsee/eat/shop?   We try to avoid mobs of tourists (thus the rental car).   Safety is obviously a factor.
