Rare DCPIV Posted August 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2022 What are the regulations about carrying wine or liquor through the Port of Miami? I swear I saw something that said it had to be in the "checked" baggage and NOT in a carry-on. I no longer can find that source, and I can't seem to find anything on the port's website. We will be on a sailing where we are allowed to bring on our own alcohol if we so desire. We are considering it, but we really want to avoid any issues that might arise from doing it the wrong way. CruiserBruce Posted August 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2022 It is whatever the rules of the cruise line are. The port doesn't care.
FOPMan Posted August 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2022 Alcohol in an airplane must be in checked luggage to comply with 3-1-1 regulations. There’s nothing similar for port security.
