upwarduk Posted August 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2022 I read on Social Media that 68 Wait staff left the ship earlier this week and have not been replaced. This means that there are few Assistant Waiters. Hopefully, more staff were taken on in Southampton, as I’ve also read that both the present cruise and the next one are 100% full. Is the staff situation effecting dining room service.

There are still a fair number of cabins available to book in most classes even a couple of suites.

Aha! You are right! It hadn't occurred to me that the sailing would still be open for booking. By my count, 26 Inside, small number oceanview, 46 Veranda/Sunset veranda empty, 2 aqua class, 43 concierge. And a small number of suites. So, not full at all! I am looking at verandas and they all say King Bed. In the past I never paid attention just always requested beds be separated. Can the king convert to twins? I feel like an idiot asking after all the cruises I have taken!! Thank you!
