Ladybug5 Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Does anyone know where you can purchase large hook magnets for the cruise rooms. They would be nice to hang caps and coats on. They would help to declutter the room. All I have been able to find are small metal hooks.

Did a quick search on Amazon for "large magnetic hooks" and came up with quite a few options. The small ones are actually quite strong (at least for us). I can hang my Alaskan cruise jacket from two of them.
outdoors27 Posted August 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2022 We got ours off of Amazon. We have 6 small ones and as someone already said they are very strong. Another thing that has worked great is a hanging shoe rack. That has been such a help with clutter over the past 6 cruises for us.
CruizinSusan70 Posted August 27, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Since you normally have to spend 25 on Amazon to get free shipping, I would search eBay.
Number12 Posted August 27, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2022 We use the hooks to hang our organizer on the wall rather than over the door.
Ladybug5 Posted August 27, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted August 27, 2022 I am trying to find large plastic hook magnets for our cruise room. They would be great to declutter the room. This would be a way to hang caps and jackets and hoses from Cpap machines. All I have been able to find are small metal ones. The small metal ones would not be good for Cpap hoses. Rare mom says Posted August 27, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2022 (edited) Have you checked Home Depot or Lowes? Or, instead of magnetic ones, you could use the Command utility hooks Edited August 27, 2022 by mom says
Tmc1512 Posted August 28, 2022 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2022 I saw some really big command hooks in the back to school area.

These are not plastic, but do have a larger opening: https://www.amazon.com/Neosmuk-Magnetic-Opening-Machined-Kitchen/dp/B083GHSMM4/ I have used Command hooks, but only applied to glass or mirror surfaces. If something damages the walls, the passenger is responsible for it!
Susan in Maine Posted August 28, 2022 #10 Share Posted August 28, 2022 I found larger, heavier duty ones on Amazon.

We use Command hooks, but found they do not stick to the walls very well. They stick to the metal doors very well. Use them for jackets and sweatshirts.

Tmc1512 Posted September 3, 2022 #17 Share Posted September 3, 2022 Y’all, it is a saying. You took the assignment seriously. It’s a current saying that is used frequently. Sorry, if I offended.
