For those who didn’t know Caesar’s is putting like a billion dollars into Harrah’s New Orleans and changing it to Caesar’s. And building a new hotel. They have made a ton of progress since January. Rare Saint Greg Posted October 2 Author #384 Share Posted October 2 Guess I need to get caught up on todays trip. Did you know five of the six longest bridges in North America are in south Louisiana? I go over one every time I come here. I could go over two. I typically bypass #3 the 18 mile Atchafalaya Basin bridge by taking highway 190. It saves about 20 minutes but you have to deal with changing speeds and small town cops. Rare Saint Greg Posted October 2 Author #387 Share Posted October 2 One thing I like here is self-parking is available. You can park in this garage for intercontinental as well. A lot New Orleans hotels just have valet. Valet here is $39 so it only saves a few dollars but i like parking myself.
