Rejjie Posted October 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2022 2 Canadians here and we are booked on the 3 continent cruise on 3 December 2022 and have been in the process of getting our entry visas for Egypt set up. When filling out the application it started asking questions regarding the name, phone number, and email address of our host in Egypt. I called the 1-800 number on Celestyal's website to get the required info (namely the email address) and was informed by the gentleman that answered the phone that we don't need to worry about visas. The cruise line takes care of all of that for us. He was relieved we didn't waste the money ourselves. Celestyal's website, and our ticket, says differently, though. The website states it's up to us to contact our embassy and get our entry paperwork, including visas. My wife is worried that if we follow the employee's advice, we will be up a certain creek with no paddle. Can anyone who has sailed this cruise recently confirm or deny this employee's claim, or provide the required info needed to fill out the application ourselves? travelingman Posted October 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2022 I had emailed a similar question to Celestyal. Here is their response (9/20/22). Of course, this is for a US citizen. "Hello from Celestyal, Regarding USA passport holders for the ‘3 Continents’ cruise please note: No Schengen visa is required for Greece regardless of the means of transportation used to enter the country, UNLESS they hold diplomatic or military USA passports. No Turkish visa as Kusadasi is not an embarkation port for 3 Continents, so passengers will be in transit. No Cypriot visa is required for USA passport holders. In Israel, no visa is required. Passengers will be given a landing card where Passport Control officers of Israel will place your entry stamps. Please note that all passengers upon arrival in Ashdod will go through face and passport control. In Egypt, USA passport holders will be granted a quick trip stamp visa on their passport during their voyage from Piraeus to Port Said, therefore, no pre-issued visa. " Hope this helps. Would think the same would apply for you. Stan
