fishing in aruba

Our 1/2 day fishing trip in Aruba was very pleasant even though catching could have been better.

We caught 2 wahoo (1 about 20 pounds the other about 25 pounds) and 1 small mahi-mahi.

Although Aruba is known for strong winds and rough seas, we lucked out and had lake Caribbean with smooth seas.

We choose the Teaser operation that has two 35' Bertram Sportsfishers. We were on "Kenny's Toy". Kenny and his crewman were helpful and professional. The boat was clean and well run.

There are few places where one can charter a 35' fishing boat for 1/2 day for the same price as charged in Aruba.

It is a good option on a cruise stop for those who like to fish.
