Someone may need to call us while we’re on our cruise. @summer slopeI would think that if it is a family emergency it might be better for family to call Holland America head office they would get in touch with the ship and that way leave a message on your phone in the cabin. Than you can go to Guest services where they might be able to help you to call home. We did not have a cellphone at the time . It happened to us a few years ago that our very best family friend had passed away unexpected and after I received the message in our cabin Guest services allowed me to call home on a special line with help from the operator on board and I was not charged at all for calling home . Our call was at least 15 minutes long . They were wonderful and very supportive ! Edited November 1, 2022 by sailingdutchy 6

Also scoot around at 888 441 7575 Thanks Carol - can’t call a 1-800 number in Europe. I will call my TA today about possible wheel chair assistance to board. hopefully she can help and I will see how I am in a day or two. No idea on how to use a scooter. Hopefully I can get by with the crutches by then. 🤞

In Spain the toll free number is 900 followed by a 6 digit number. Sorry to hear about your foot. Graham. He won't take our word for it before we leave. 1
