Rare Radio Posted March 2, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2023 This post was recognized by LauraS! "Oh year, another from Radio! Thank you for generously sharing your time at sea with everyone at Cruise Critic!" Radio was awarded the badge '"Live from...."' and 5 points. Welcome to "LIVE" from MSC Seascape. Hello everyone, and good day. The Sea is Calling. I will be flying to Miami tomorrow to sail on the beautiful MSC Seascape on March 5 (This Sunday). I really don’t like to fly, and this is the first time I’ve flown since 2019 (BWI-LHR), but I really wanted to sail on this ship. The last time I sailed with MSC was on Divina in 2016. This will be my first cruise since Sep 2022 (Oasis of the Seas) MSC Seascape launched in Dec 2022 and has been sailing from Miami on alternating Eastern-Western Caribbean cruises. She has been sailing near capacity since then. I am really hoping for some warm weather in Miami as I will be staying there for 2 nights (Pre-Cruise) near Port Miami. After the cruise, I will be staying an additional 2 nights before coming home. MSC Seascape will be sailing a very nice 7-night itinerary. We are scheduled for port calls at Ocean Cay, BHS - Port Nassau, BHS - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and San Juan, PR. I have been following many reports that discuss long lines, “MSC for Me” App problems, and dining choices. Of course, with many reports, there have been passengers who loved everything about the ship, even with capacities above 100%. You will be viewing the ship through my eyes, and I will provide you with my thoughts onboard. I am hoping for clear weather next week, and I am looking forward to entering the Passenger Terminal at Port Miami this Sunday. There will be much more coming in just a few days . . . Thanks for tuning in. Radio MSC Seascape © 2023 MSC Cruises S.A. AFT View © 2023 MSC Cruises S.A. Aerial AFT view © 2023 MSC Cruises S.A. Ocean Cay Marine Reserve © 2023 MSC Cruises S.A. Rare skittl1321 Posted March 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2023 Very excited to read along. We will be cruising this summer and are very nervous about MSC in general, and such a large ship being so crowded.
Fla Mike Posted March 2, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2023 Looking forward to your review..... The weather has been very warm as of late, mid to upper 80's. What experience are you booked, (Fantastica, Bella, Aurea, or Yacht Club) ?
kasi1979 Posted March 2, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2023 Awesome, we will visit the ports in Dezember. Do you have an overview over the offered excursions?
surfjock27 Posted March 3, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2023 I’m excited to read your review, as we are on in 2 weeks (March 19th). If it’s not an inconvenience I was hoping maybe you could find a definite answer to a question that I’ve gotten so many different answers to. Will the Premium Package allow for margaritas INSIDE Hola Cantina while dining? I’ve had some say they recently cruised and were able to. I’ve had others swear it’s a not allowed because it’s considered a “signature restaurant.” Thanks in advance and please have so much fun!

You can view the current shore excursions on the homepage at any time. This is one of the few things that really works well.Landausflüge für Ihre Kreuzfahrt | MSC Cruises Of course, there will be some changes over time, but you already get a very good overview. Sorry to everyone else that I'm linking to the German homepage for once, but we're both German and I'm not sure if it works on the American website either.

Rare Radio Posted March 4, 2023 Author #18 Share Posted March 4, 2023 Hello everyone, I made it to Miami in one piece. The flight was smooth and we arrived at about 6:45pm. It took me about 30 minutes to get my luggage, but it took almost an hour to get to the hotel. This is a trip that should have taken less than 15 minutes. There was a lot of Friday night traffic that caused the delay. There are only a few ships in Port Miami today, but there will be seven ships tomorrow when I board MSC Seascape. . . Today is a rest day because tomorrow is CRUISE DAY! Radio PHL Airport Check In Up to the Admiral's Club YaYa, my Flight Attendant going over the pre-flight safety advice. Almost there. . . Port Miami is very light today. . . Tomorrow will be a very busy day. . . Yikes .
