SiliconCruiser Posted April 12, 2023 #26 Share Posted April 12, 2023 If everyone shows a disinterest in the China produced Stanley Bears, they'll probably show up as clearance items. I don't really know, just spent a few years in corporate marketing, and this is something at the retail level.

I was looking for an Alaskan Stanley on our Alaskan cruise, the only Stanley's they had left were ones in tuxes holding a heart. And didn't look like there was a lot of them even. Maybe more Stanley's will come back when the chocolates on the pillows do 🤣 11 hours ago, 808cruisers said: What does alaskan stanley look like? I got the captain stanley. 4 hours ago, Moondogy said: Dressed like a lumberjack. We have a pirate one right now and DW bought the one with the heart. there are 2 types of Stanley bears...the original ones first came out in lumberjack outfits as they were introduced during the Alaska season (in 2017 I believe) I got one the first day of our Panama Canal cruise in 2017, a few days later when my sissy decided to buy them for her grandkids, they only had the captain ones these have removable clothes & for a little while you could buy the captain & lumberjack outfits,,,there are no outfits currently available, although we did get Chinese outfits on the Majesic last year that they had left from sailing Asia more recently they have also been selling smaller Stanleys that have costumes that are part of them (not removable) they keep coming up with new ones...most recently on the Crown they had uncle sam. pirate, unicorn & easter ones...they also had lots of the bigger ones in the captain suit I don't know that they still come with the tag with the story:
808cruisers Posted April 12, 2023 #28 Share Posted April 12, 2023 You can go into the personalizer and buy someone else a Stanley gift if you know someone else going on a cruise and willing to lug it back to you.

WAvoyager Posted May 2, 2023 #36 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Just a heads up for anyone looking for Stanley. We pre-ordered one for our 4/15 Mexican Riviera cruise on the Discovery. Instead of delivering it to the room (which would have been a GREAT surprise for our daughter), they delivered a voucher for us to pick one up in the gift shop. Major bummer. But, after we picked him up, we found out there were no Stanleys available on the ship - they only brought in enough for the preorders. My poor daughter - she’s a little shy, and she definitely got tired of people stopping her to ask where we got Stanley! 😁. She took him everywhere on the ship and she got stopped at least 4?times a day by people wanting to talk about or ask about him. On the 5th night she she told me “I like Stanley coming with us, but I wish people would stop asking us about him!”. Stanley even got to go to the 360 Dining Experience!
