klangel Posted April 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2023 We will be on MSC Meraviglia in August. One of our stop will be Miami. If we step off the ship, what is there to do? Any suggestions what is fun with two 8 years old boy and a teenager? Also any good Latin food near the port? Or area with multi Latin food trucks? JohninDC Posted April 26, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2023 Hop on/off bus tours are a good way to see Maimi and Miami Beach on a port stop - get off when you see something interesting or a good food option and then get back on. The south beach area is relatively close to the port ($20+ in a taxi) with dining, beaches, museums, etc. Miami also has a nice zoo.
Langoustine Posted April 26, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2023 The zoo is indeed nice, but it's also over 20 miles from the cruiseport.
Corby114 Posted April 26, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2023 Take a cab over to South Beach in Miami Beach. Hangout on the beach, Have a nice lunch and take a cab back to the ship. South Beach is a beautiful place.
