shiner6 Posted June 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2023 Does anyone know what the real cost of the chef’s table is? We just finished a fabulous meal on the Pride which we prepaid $98 pp. I received an envelope in my cabin stating there would be an additional 18% gratuity added to tonight’s dinner. Then at the dinner we were presented with another check with request for a gratuity. All of us at the table were confused and no one knew what was correct etiquette. Seems a shame to end such a fabulous meal on such a sour note.

vwrestler171 Posted June 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2023 You have to sign the receipt saying you had the meal and then they do have a line for an additional gratuity if you wish to add more.
Cruising_Addict Posted June 15, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2023 No one is forcing you to pay additional gratuities above the standard ones. It’s completely optional. So the answer to your question is $115.64 per person ($98 x 1.18), plus whatever additional you might want to give.
