Rare Clay Clayton Posted October 20, 2023 #1 Posted October 20, 2023 This should make embarkation much more pleasant than what we experienced last July. 1 1
SailorPaulH Posted October 20, 2023 #2 Posted October 20, 2023 Is that still at the Skarfabakki Harbour location?

Crap-the link to the story about the NEW terminal didn't post and I can't seem to make it. I've posted a screenshot of the headline below. The picture I included originally above was what we experienced last July when they only had a small tent. Edited October 21, 2023 by Clay Clayton
miami mama Posted October 22, 2023 #8 Posted October 22, 2023 It looks like the new terminal will not be ready until 2025. Did the cruises this summer go out of the Skarfabakki Harbour location?
Rare Clay Clayton Posted October 23, 2023 Author #9 Posted October 23, 2023 Yes and in 2021 (and I presume 2022)
Rare WanderingBrit Posted October 23, 2023 #11 Posted October 23, 2023 At the end of July we rolled up at 11:35am with no one ahead of us and walked straight on after a quick ID check 😎

Here's a shot I took when we disembarked in Reykjavik on Viking Saturn this past June 21 (longest day of the year!).

Once we made it inside the tent it didn't take very long but our friends who came directly from the airport went directly aboard at 10 am or so.

Congrats! Timing is every thing! You can't plan what you experienced, so you really lucked out. 1
