Will confirm that Starlink satellite WiFi are up & operational onboard the Prima tomorrow and upgrading to an unlimited data package, hopefully will not have very limited internet & news access restricted at sea.

Safe travels to you as you venture to Pr1ma! Seeing a lot of folks flying in now. I just cannot imagine taking that chance, but in Europe everything is closer. Even though our drive is only four hours to Manhattan, we still don't chance it - hotel in the tri-state or city, every time.

 

Oh well, time to shower and pack! Our taxi will be here in 30!

11:00 already onboard, scan our keycards already at our Muster Station Deck 8 - Station F1 (near Whiskey Bar) already.  Very impressed with embarkation process here - passing thru duty-free shopping area, up escalator to gangway, to Deck 6. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If only NY's MCT or Pier 88 is well layout & organized and friendly with greeters 🤗

Si, done & booked. BTS tour on Nov 25 at 8:20 and signed up for Dine w Officers, TBA. Latitudes reception by CruiseNext on Sea Day 1, Wed Nov 23 at 1:30 PM at Observation Lounge 

 

Ship's senior team, among them - Alvin Olivia, CD - one of popular ones, 4th time for us with him running the department.

if i’m not mistaken, he also helmed the prima. he has a unique signature phrase when he completes his PA announcements. it will soon be obvious to all onboard.

In winter are you sure it is a 4-hour drive to NYC? I remember on trip from Rochester to Troy. Got at far as Senecca Falls as they closed the Thruway.

 

We live 50 minutes from Dulles (on a routine day).  If we have an early morning flight, it's stay overnight at a hotel with a van to the airport and leave the car at the hotel and, of course, leave at least the day before for a cruise a) to avoid missing ship and b) checking out the outbound city. 

 

Enjoy your cruise. We only ate at Indulge once on Prima in June, but enjoyed this new concept. So, from almost newest ship to the smaller Star in exactly a month.

Indulge was one of the memorable features on the Prima during my short trip on her last year.  By the middle of the trip word had gotten out with others and it became very hard to get seats unless at opening or just before closing.

Thank You  I will get it posted.  The list should be good.  They usually change the picture board before passengers are allowed to board.  Lots of familiar faces including Alvin.  I had been wondering about Alvin.
