Sitting on tons of air miles (MM and LM), but no availability in Biz. 😩 Finally, I could book a nice flight award MUC-SIN-AKL for next year. So the course is set to the South Pacific. 😎
Rare LACruiser88 Posted May 4 Author #553 Share Posted May 4 Sea Day #2 and Cruise Day #26. Weather continues to be windy and it has definitely become cooler. Seas are "bumpy" with occasional big bumps! We have the MTG luncheon tomorrow at noon in the Harmony Restaurant. We are not impressed with the Loyalty and Events Host. Two nights ago, she called our cabin asking if we were attending the luncheon as we had not provided a RSVP. We informed her that we never received an invitation and had stopped by her office several times inquiring as to when the invitations were to be delivered. And, she originally told us that the luncheon was to be held on May 6th, now the date was May 5th. Last night we met up with friends (they are #2 most traveled on this cruise) and they too did not receive an invitation. I think they are too consumed with selling cruises and not that interested in their most loyal customers. Oh well, I know first world problems! 🤣
Astro Flyer Posted May 4 #554 Share Posted May 4 (edited) I’ve read posts from other ships that are having the same MTG notification issues…I miss the Captain’s Circle staff who were so much more reliable than the ONE staff. Oh well, I know first world problems! 🤣 FYI, if you did not already know this. The on board loyalty person is not employed by Princess any longer. They outsourced it to O.N.E. (I believe) and combined the position with Future Sales, which they had previously outsourced. I have read other negative comments from other ships also. It seems nearly everything is outsourced with Princess.

We have discussed this now with several HGM's. They have advised us that the concerns have been passed up their chain of command with no changes expected in the near future. We keep mentioning our concerns in our post cruise surveys. 🤷♂️ 4

hpeabody Posted May 6 #566 Share Posted May 6 Yummmm. The MTG lunch looks good. I am thinking on a 1 week Alaska cruise I may make the MTG Lunch at around 700 days. I did on a past Discovery cruise. I was pleasntly surprised. I think I am getting excited for MY cruise on Majestic.
Rare LACruiser88 Posted May 6 Author #567 Share Posted May 6 The extra dish in the Reserve Dining Room tonight was Lamb Chops. Tonight's wine was the best so far of the wines we purchased in Sydney. We rated it a solid 94 points! Highly recommend! 🍷🍷🍷

Rare LACruiser88 Posted May 7 Author #571 Share Posted May 7 Tonight we had our 3rd dinner at The Catch. It was delicious!!! We started with the "Fantastic Journey." It was truly FANTASTIC!!! The view was not bad either! For our main we had the King Salmon with Parmesan Fries. Dessert was again the Chantilly Lace (Ice cream and Chantilly Creme filled Profiteroles). Wow!!!
