Paris tour

Can anyone recommend a tour operator to take a city guided tour of Paris?

I aim struggling to find a highly rated private tour guide. I have used Tours by Locals in many locations worldwide, but their site has been nonfunctional for weeks.

BTW make sure to check the days of operation. They stagger their closing days so they don’t overlap. Just because one is open, the other might be closed. Also, the d’Orsay might have night hours on some days.

 

Right across the bridge from the d’Orsay is Musée de l'orangerie. It was specifically built to house Monet’s oversized lilly pond series of paintings. The louvre is huge, like all day huge. You might be better off doing the two impressionist museums on one day and the Louvre on another.

Have you considered a bike tour?  We loved our tour by Fat Tire.  It was a great overview of the city.  We also used Paris Muse for a tour inside the Louvre.  The tour guide was fabulous - we saw so much in our time with her.
